Brutal Beat Sends Urban to the Rail

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Fabien Baldelli opened to 15,000 from under the gun, David Urban three-bet to 47,000 in middle position and Baldelli called. The flop was {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} and Urban continued with a bet of 35,000, which Baldelli check-called.

The {A-Spades} on the turn brought out the fireworks. Baldelli checked, Urban bet 85,000, Baldelli check-raised all in and Urban snap-called it off for 222,000 total.

David Urban: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}
Fabien Baldelli: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

It was another massive hand at table 108 and once again, Baldelli was involved. Urban was in fantastic shape to double up but the brutal {7-Diamonds} on the river brought his bracelet hunt to a screeching halt. He tapped the table and quickly left the tournament area.

With 700,000 in chips, Baldelli now holds a commanding lead.
