Begovic Departs

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Earlier today, Amar Begovic finished in 20th place in the €550 PLO for €1,676, and he invested €1,100 of that for the Turbo Bounty Hunter. The net result of that investment will be zero as Begovic just got eliminated at the hands of Danny Covyn.

Covyn held {A-Hearts}{3-Spades} and flopped an ace in the window against Begovic's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to collect the bounty.

Gutyi At the Top

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Luca Marchetti raised to 10,000 from late position and Yunsheng Sun called in the hijack. Mykhailo Gutyi three-bet on the button and only Marchetti called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Marchetti check-called the 23,000 continuation-bet of Gutyi.

The turn was the {2-Spades} on which they both checked through to the {10-Hearts} on the river. Marchetti now lead out for 50,000 and Gutyi called. Marchetti tabled {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the pair of fours on the board with the ace-kicker and was bested by Gutyi who held {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the flopped two pair.

Crazy Runout Ends It for Nedelcu

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a three-bet pot, the flop came down {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and all the chips flew in the middle between Fabien Baldelli in early position and Narcis-Gabriel Nedescu on the button.

Fabien Baldelli: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Narcis-Gabriel Nedescu: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Baldelli had smooth called the three-bet preflop and found himself in an amazing spot to double up. To his shock, the dealer flipped the {K-Clubs} on the turn, but to everyone's shock, the {A-Diamonds} fell on the river to swing it back to Baldelli.

After counting out the stacks, it turned out Baldelli had Nedescu slightly covered and the latter was eliminated.

Janardhan Shoots Soyza Down

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Michael Soyza shoved from mid-position for around 33,000 and was called by Bharath Janardhan in the small blind.

Michael Soyza: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Bharath Janardhan: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The flop came {8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for Janardhan to hit a pair of queens and deliver Soyza a gutshot straight draw.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} which didn't change the situation, neither did the {3-Diamonds} on the turn as Soyza was sent to the rail.
