Tregoubov Ships Into Aces

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Oleksandr Lagoda opened to 55,000 from under the gun and was called by Ihor Yerofeiev on his left and Stoyan Obreshkov in the cutoff. Igor Tregoubov shipped all in for 462,000 in the small blind and Lagoda quickly called. Yerofeiev and Obreshkov stepped aside and the two hands were tabled.

Oleksandr Lagoda: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Igor Tregoubov: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Tregoubov was in danger of losing his entire stack but even Allen Kessler was thinking on the positive side. "Yikes! Well at least that's a good hand to crack aces," he pointed out.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} to give Tregoubov a chance with a pair of queens. However, the {k-Spades} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river was no help and he was sent packing.
