Sklenicka Busts on First Hand of the Day

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Shortly before play started, Michael Sklenicka was joking with Ryan Riess about how the latter was going to double him up.

On the very first hand, Sklenicka opened from the hijack. "It's time for the double!" he said, as it folded to Ryan Riess in the big blind who then three-bet all in from the big blind. Sklenicka called.

Ryan Riess: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Michael Sklenicka: {q-}{q-}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Riess sent Sklenicka to the rail.

"That's a pretty sick hand," said tablemate Allen Kessler.

"Some things are just meant to be, Allen" said Riess, who extended his chip lead.
