Bortnik Defends His Big Blind

Level 2 : 200/400, 0 ante

Aleksandar Tomovic raised from the button to 1,100 and the player in the small blind wasn't present at the table. Oleh Bortnik defended his big blind and they saw the {J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop appear.

Bortnik checked to the initial raiser and Tomovic continued with a bet of 1,400. Bortnik called to see the {5-Clubs} turn come off the deck.

Bortnik went for the check-call route again on the turn. Tomovic made a bet of 3,200 and it was called again by Bortnik.

The {7-Clubs} river completed the board and both players checked this time.

Bortnik opened his {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and that was enough to take down the pot.

Norbert Szecsi just took his seat next to Tomovic.
