Schiefer Gets Paid Off

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Wojciech Wyrebski raised to 360,000 from early position and was called by Klaus Schiefer a couple of seats over. The flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Wyrebski led out for 460,000. Schiefer quickly called and the {8-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Wyrebski checked this time and Schiefer also tapped the table. The {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Wyrebski slid in a bet of 600,000. Schiefer instantly raised to 2,000,000 and Wyrebski went into the tank. After a couple of minutes, he made the call and Schiefer turned over {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the best full house. Wyrebski mucked his hand and Schiefer dragged in a sizeable pot.
