Jonkers Jumps Into The Lead

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Mathijs Jonkers
Mathijs Jonkers

Mathijs Jonkers raised to 50,000 from the small blind and Stoyan Obreshkov called from the big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}, Jonkers bet 40,000, Obreshkov raised to 110,000, Jonkers three-bet to 310,000 and Obreshkov called.

The turn brought them the {7-Clubs} on which they both checked.

The river completed the board with the {8-Clubs}, Jonkers bet 125,000 and Obreshkov tanked. After about two minutes he took his whole stack of blue 25,000-chips and put them in as a bet.

"If you have eight-seven, that would be really sick!" Jonkers said while looking at the board again. The bet Obreshkov looked like it was worth all of Jonkers' stack. "I call!" Jonkers said.

Obreshkov showed {9-Spades}{5-Hearts} but was dominated by Jonkers' {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} as he had a full house, sevens over threes.

The dealer counted Jonkers' stack and he had 780,000 behind. The stack of blue chips Obreshkov had put on the line was worth 775,000 so it all went Jonkers' way.
