Schemion Busts Trickett

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

Sam Trickett limped under the gun and Ole Schemion was in the small blind.

Igor Kurganov was wandering a little between hands and saw Trinkett's under the gun limp.

"Oh, you're limping now," he said, "you're so up to date."

Schemion raised from the small blind to 375,000 and Trickett went all in for roughly 1,500,000 total. Schemion seemed to smirk a little and then called shortly after with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Trickett had {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Schemion eliminated Trickett.

Kenney Makes a Boat to Double Up

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised all in from the button. Bryn Kenney then re-raised all in himself for less. Dario Sammartino folded the big blind.

Rainer Kempe: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Bryn Kenney: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The flop gave Kenney a set and Kempe a gutshot coming {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The turn, however, was the {6-Spades} giving Kenney a full house and the river was the {2-Clubs}.

"If you fold, I have to call," said Sammartino, "I had {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}"

Sammartino Doubles Through Petrangelo

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo opened to 200,000 from early position and Dario Sammartino defended from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Sammartino check-called 150,000 from Petrangelo. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Sammartino went all in for 682,000. Petrangelo called but his two pair, {a-}{8-} was no good against the straight of Sammartino who held {6-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Schillhabel Eliminates Mateos

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos opened for 225,000 on the button and Stefan Schillhabel jammed in the big blind.

"You cover me?" asked Mateos.

Indeed, Schillhabel had over 3 million while Mateos had about 2.7 million. The Spanish crusher called with {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} but was dominated by {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop was a scary one as Mateos flopped a two-way straight draw, but the {2-Diamonds} and {7-Clubs} kept the king kicker best.

Schemion Isn't Sure

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Niall Farrell opened to 225,000 under the gun and Timothy Adams and Ole Schemion both called. Schemion was in the big blind and he checked the {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop.

Farrell bet 300,000 and Schemion was the lone caller. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked. The river was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked again.

Schemion reluctantly turned over {10-Spades}{5-Spades} and Farrell mucked.

Kabrhel Doubles Through Mateos

Level 17 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

We found Martin Kabrhel tanking against an open from Adrian Mateos to 175,000 on his right. Stefan Schillhabel called a clock and Kabrhel immediately announced 555,000. Mateos thought a bit and dropped in some chips but someone stopped him from exposing his hand as Kabrhel had 150,000 back. Mateos put that amount in blind.

"Blind?" Kabrhel said. "You are crazy guy."

The flop came {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}.

"If I am so unlucky, I am so unlucky," Kabrhel said. "I have only one pair."

He slid in the chips though and turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Mateos had a smaller pair with {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Neither the {5-Diamonds} nor the {4-Clubs} caught him up and Kabrhel doubled.
