The final day of five days of starting flights for Event #5: THE COLOSSUS is here. The World Series of Poker Europe has seen 1,953 hopefuls trying to make it through to Day 2 on Wednesday, November 1st and only 114 players have done so. Day 1i is the ninth flight out of ten here at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov and it is expected that there will be a large field today.

The guaranteed prize pool of €2,000,000 prize pool has attracted some of the biggest names from the poker world, and some of them are one step closer to victory. Players like Jaroslaw Sikora (507,000), Sander van Wesemael (472,000), Ognjen Sekularac (447,500), John Racener (334,000), Brandon Cantu (283,500), Michael Magalashvili (241,500), Martin Kabrhel (235,000), Kenny Hallaert (206,000), Alex Foxen (189,000) and Marcel Luske (184,500).

The players will be playing 18 30-minute levels or until there are eleven players remaining. Registration is possible until the start of Level 9 which is around 4.40 p.m. local time. One single re-entry is allowed during that period. The players will be sent on a 20-minute break after Level 4, 8, 12 and 14. There is one more flight today, Day 1j will start at 6 p.m. local time with registration closing around 10.40 p.m. local time.
