Khalifa Gets Reckless

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The action folded around to Jonathan Khalifa on the button who hasn't been able to do anything wrong yet today. He had built up the only stack over 2,000,000 thus far and announced all-in, trying to pick up the blinds. Michael Magalashvili reluctantly folded the small blind and Brice Jungmann tanked for nearly two minutes in the big blind. He finally called for his remaining 441,000 and the cards were tabled.

Jungmann: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Khalifa: {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Jungmann doubled up through Khalifa. "It's not even that much for me," Khalifa said as he counted out the chips to send Jungmann's way. It was nearly 20% of his stack but Khalifa still sits among the chip leaders.
