Swingy Time for Alessi

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In one hand Donato Alessi tripled up through Barny Boatman and Jakub Kaderabek. Alessi was all in pre-flop, and after Boatman forced Kaderabek out on the {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop the cards were turned over.

Boatman held {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} while Alessi had {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and his pocket pair held on the {4-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river.

On the very next hand Marek Sindelar moved all in from under the gun and it folded to Alessi on the button who moved all in himself.

Marek Sindelar: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Donato Alessi: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} giving Sindelar a flush and knocking Alessi's stack back down.
