Sinclair's Mistakes Works Out Well For Him

Level 18 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair attempted to raise from the hijack, but miscounted his chips and it was ruled a limp. Jan Schwippert limped on the button and Ahadpur Khangah and Kenny Hallaert joined the flop from the blinds.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Sinclair bet 700,000, with Schwippert folding and the other two players calling.

All three players checked the {k-Spades} turn and the river was the {k-Diamonds}. Hallaert checked to Sinclair who bet 2.8m. Khangah quickly called and Hallaert tanked. He agonised over his decision before folding. Sinclair showed {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a full house, kings full of threes, and took down thepot.

"Why in this tournament do we have to play complicated multi-way hands on double-paired boards?" asked Hallaert.

"So sick," said Sinclair, "I know you had a three."
