Saout Doubles Through Peters

Level 8 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

David Peters opened to 90,000 from early position and Antoine Saout re-raised to 1,025,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Peters who eyed up the remaining 55,000 chips in front of Saout and then shoved all in himself. Saout obviously called and tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Peters was slightly behind with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

The flop came {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both players flopped top pair with Saout holding the better kicker. The turn was the {4-Spades} and the river landed the {9-Diamonds}, giving Saout a full double up at the hands of Peters.
