Valentin Vornicu opened to 55,000 from middle position and was called by Rene Crha in the big blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Crha checked to Vornicu who continued for 60,000. Crha check-raised all-in for 328,000 and Vornicu snapped him off.

Crha turned over {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a straight draw and Vornicu showed {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and the river was the {4-Hearts}. Crha made a straight on the river and Vornicu was left with just under 100,000 chips.

Just two hands later, Vornicu moved all-in for 90,000 from under the gun and Walter Treccarichi shipped all-in over the top from the small blind. The two hands were tabled and Vornicu found himself dominated with {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} against Treccarichi's {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. The board ran out {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Vornicu disappointedly got up from the table.
