Trickett Makes Big River Bet
Jason Mercier raised to 1,000 and was called by the cutoff and Sam Trickett from the big blind.

The paired the board on the river and Trickett fired a rather large bet of 16,000. Mercier was confused by the size of the bet and began talking the hand out.
"Why did you check the turn?" asked Mercier.
"I can't tell you things like that," replied Trickett.
"It doesn't make sense," said Mercier. "I've got to figure out how you have anything....King-seven? King-six?"
Trickett's only response was a smile.
"This is so dumb," said Mercier as he finally released his hand. The pot was awarded to Trickett who, despite other at the table asking, did not show his hand.
