Former Champ vs. Future Champ?
Back in 2005 Joe Hachem took the poker world by storm taking down the World Series of Poker Main Event. The Australian pro has been on the tournament circuit ever since. After his $7,500,000 victory he also won the the Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic for $2,207,575, and added a runner-up finish in the $2,500 6-Max at the 2006 WSOP to his name.
As of right now Hachem has $11,776,100 in live tournament earnings putting him in 10th place on the all-time money leader board. Jesse Sylvia is currently number 14,855 on the all-time money leader board, but that number is rapidly going to change next month. Sylvia will start the 2012 WSOP Main Event final table with a big chip lead, and he's already guaranteed to win at least $754,798. The ultimate goal for Sylvia will be to capture the gold, and the $8,527,982 first place prize.
Today these two players will be facing off against each other, and maybe the veteran will have to tips for the rookie.
