Cardyn Couldn't Decide
Sometimes you run into hands that take longer than expected, and Nicolas Cardyn just played one of those.
The board read when Axel Pergolizzi check-called a 23,500-chip bet from Cardyn. On the river the hit and Pergolizzi checked again. Cardyn bet 54,500 and Pergolizzi put his opponent all in.
Cardyn stared Pergolizzi down like never before, and he even looked for tells in his breathing and his neck. It was almost too obvious what Cardyn was doing as he even checked under the table if Pergolizzi's feet were calm.
After about seven minutes Cardyn folded, and Pergolizzi mucked his cards face down. Cardyn was knocked down while Pergolizzi has a very big stack to work with.
