Huge Double For Julius

Jason Mercier opened to 4,000 from early position and was called by Sam Cohen as well as Kyle Julius from the small blind and the player in the big blind.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and there were three checks to Cohen. She fired 7,700 and Julius raised to 17,000. The big blind got out of the way and Mercier joined him by throwing his cards to the muck.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Julius bet 9,500. Cohen called and the {4-Hearts} river put a straight on the board. Julius moved all in for 67,000 and after about a minute Cohen announced a call.

Julius showed {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for a higher straight than on the board and Cohen threw away her hand. Julius is now sitting on roughly 212,000 in chips.
