Duhamel Busts Gerin, Then Battles with Frankland

Fung Cheung checked the {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop before Rebecca Gerin bet 2,350. Jonathan Duhamel raised to 7,000, which knocked Cheung out of the hand. Gerin reraised all in for just about 27,000, and Duhamel snapped with the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. He was up against the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for Gerin.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} to give Duhamel the lead with a pair of queens. The river was the {3-Clubs} and improved Duhamel to a flush. He won the pot to bust Gerin from the event.

Shortly thereafter, Duhamel battled with Mathew Frankland in a blind-versus-blind confrontation that ended on the flop with Frankland's lead bet.

Action folded to Frankland in the small blind and he raised to an unknown amount. Duhamel reraised to 4,400 from the big blind, then Frankland fired back with a reraise to 10,325. Duhamel took his time, then made it 20,700 to go. Frankland opted to just call.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and Frankland led for 17,300. He had 44,675 behind, and Duhamel went into the tank. After a couple minutes, Duhamel folded and was knocked back to 76,000.
