Convey Hurt By Andrulis

Marc Convey has had a bad start after just losing a big pot to Kristijonas Andrulis. Convey explained how he got involved in a three-bet pot with pocket fours against both Andrulis and Philipp Boucher.

The flop brought out {10-}{6-}{4-} with two spades, and Convey check-raised Andrulis from 1,500 to 4,000. Boucher bailed out and Andrulis called. The {5-Spades} hit on the turn, and both players checked.

The river was the {A-Hearts} and Convey bet 3,500. Andrulis put out a big raise to 12,500 and Convey ended up making the call with his set. Andrulis had {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and his turned straight took down this big pot.
