Ivey Busts on Second Hand

As we headed out to the tournament field, Phil Ivey passed us headed in the opposite direction. He came from Table 19 so we made our way over and discovered that Ivey, who had late registered for the tournament, busted on just the second hand he played to McLean Karr.

According to Karr, Ivey raised to 600 in the hand and received a call from the cutoff. Karr then three-bet to 2,000, just Ivey called, and then the two got the money in on the flop. Ivey held a flush draw with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}, but wouldn't get there as Karr's {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} proved victorious.
