Romanello Takes Care of Palevic

Earlier we speculated on a possible clash between Tristan Wade and Rifat Palevic, but things turned out a bit differently. Roberto Romanello entered the tournament after his recent bust out from the €10,000 Mix Max. Coverage of that can be found here.

Romanello explained how he called down Palevic who kept firing on a {A-}{K-}{8-}{A-}{J-} board. His 'ragged ace' was the best hand, and Palevic was left behind short.

A few hands later Romanello picked up aces, and busted the Swede who had {K-}{Q-}{9-}{8-}. The money went in on the flop when Palevic had flopped a flush draw on {7-}{7-}{2-}. Romanello is off to a great start and has more than twice the starting stack.
