Esfandiari Wants More Quality Time with Grinder

The defending champ, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, who finished third in Event #3: €5,300 Pot-Limit Omaha about an hour ago, and has taken his seat to the immediate left of Antonio Esfandiari.

The two have been chatting back and forth while the rest of the table has listened with great interest. The latest tale told involved a bet between "The Magician" and "The Grinder" as to who could do the most pushups in one minute. "Yeah, and it's been cancelled two time," Mizrachi chimed.

"I never cancelled," Esfandiari retorted. Mizrachi admitted that it wasn't cancelled, but that it's been delayed on more than one occasion for both players to prepare. Originally it was supposed to be at the WSOP this summer, but Esfandiari struck it big in the Big One for One Drop, so he had other things on his plate. They were going to try again during the Main Event, but that fell through as well.

"Let's go right now," Esfandiari offered.

The Grinder smiled and simply replied, "We have to change dates, I've been smoking." That brought a round of laughter from the table.

"The only way to get quality time with the Grinder it to sit next to him in a tournament," Esfandiari concluded.
