Mizrachi Takes The Lead

Michael Mizrachi has been by far the most active player at this table, and after chipping up in small pots he just took down a serious one against Roger Hairabedian.

Hairabedian limped for 4,000 and Mizrachi followed suit. Ville Mattila checked from the big blind, and three players saw the flop. The flop came down {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and the action was checked to Mizrachi who bet 10,500. Mattila folded and Hairabedian called.

On the turn the {Q-Clubs} hit and Hairabedian check-called 26,000. The river brought out the {6-Hearts} and the Frenchman checked again. Mizrachi asked how much the pot was, and the dealer announced it was 87,000. He bet 45,000 and Hairabedian went into the tank.

After about two minutes he folded handing Mizrachi the chip lead. "Good fold," Mizrachi said as he showed the {J-Hearts}.
