Hachem Quintuples Up

Joe Hachem, the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, was down to under 2,000 in chips before moving all in from under the gun plus one for 1,950 after Ran Azor had limped in from the first position.

Following Hachem's shove, Erich Kollmann called from the hijack seat, Jan-Peter Jachtmann called from the small blind and Micah Smith called from the big blind. Azor also made the call and the action was five ways to the flop, with four of the five players still active.

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and action checked around to see the {5-Clubs} pair the board on the turn. Jachtmann bet 5,000 and everyone folded, leaving him heads up with Hachem.

Jachtmann: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Hachem: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Hachem was behind going to the river, but when the {J-Hearts} fell, he jumped back in front to win the pot and stay alive. With a shrug Hachem said, "I'll take it," as he quintupled up to nearly 10,000 in chips. Welcome back, Hachem.
