Romain Chauvassagne Eliminated in 8th Place (€16,529)

Romain Chauvassagne (Day 2) - 8th Place
Romain Chauvassagne (Day 2) - 8th Place

Romain Chauvassagne surely had the deck stacked against him here on Day 3 as he only began with 7,000 in chips. After posting the ante of 1,000, Chauvassagne moved all in for his final 6,000 from under the gun. Senh Ung completed the small blind and Demis Hassabis checked in the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both remaining active players checked. They also checked the {Q-Clubs} turn card and {10-Diamonds} river card as Chauvassagne watched on.

At the showdown, Ung showed the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Hassabis the {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Chauvassagne the {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. Hassabis had trip tens for the winner and Chauvassagne was eliminated in eighth place.

The remaining seven players are now redrawing to one table on the main stage.
