Buchanan Punishing; Lehavot Getting No Respect
The last three hands at Table 2:
Under the gun, Shawn Buchanan opened to 25,000, and his neighbor Amir Lehavot three-bet to 65,000. It's a pairing we're going to keep a close eye on today as it pits two skilled an accomplished players against each other, and each have plenty of chips to do some damage. Buchanan four-bet here, though, making it 150,000 straight, and Lehavot shot him a look and mucked.
The next hand, Lehavot opened to 27,000 under the gun, and Alex Dovzhenko three-bet to 62,000. Action came around to Buchanan in the big blind, and he decided a cold four-bet was in order. He slid out 175,000 this time, and both of his opponents quickly folded in turn.
Lehavot finally got some love on the third hand of the series, picking up a walk in the big blind.
Buchanan is approaching a half-million chips.
