Jason Mercier opened the action with a bet of 6,000 from under the gun. Alfredo Vega announced pot from the button and the dealer told him it was 22,500. The action folded back to Mercier who decided to just call.

Flop: {Q-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {3-Spades}

Mercier had Vega covered and after asking for a count (Vega had approx. 75,000) Mercier bet pot (49,500). Action back to Vega who moved all-in and Mercier called.

Mercier{K-Spades} {Q-Spades} {8-Clubs} {6-Clubs}
Vega{A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

Vega was a 66% favourite to win the hand and the {9-Clubs} on the turn just strengthened his position. Then the dealer put a smile on the faces of 17 other players when he laid the {K-Clubs} down on the board and Vega had been caught on the river.
