Naughty Dealer

It has taken 58-minutes of the first level for Phil Hellmuth to lose his cool. This time his anger is directed at the dealer and this is why.

The action folds around to Hellmuth who announces pot. The dealer tells him that he can bet 2,800 and he does. Alfredo Vega calls in the small blind and both players share a flop of {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}. The next action is a 3,000 Hellmuth bet, but the dealer gives him a warning because he had checked out of position. Vegas sought confirmation that if he checked the Hellmuth 3,000 bet would have to stand before check-raising to 16,000. Hellmuth clenches his fist in anger and after several shakes of the head he folds his hand.

"Are you sure you didn't see him check?" Hellmuth asks the Dealer.

"Sure," replied the dealer.

"I don't like it when people say they are sure," Hellmuth says before getting up and going for a walk to blow off some steam.
