Romanello v. Chouity Again

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

A moment ago, we picked up a bit of the action in a heads-up pot between Roberto Romanello and Nicolas Chouity.

When we joined the action, the board showed {9-Spades} {Q-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}, and there was about 10,000 in the pot. Romanello was first to bet from the cutoff, and he made it 7,900 to go. Chouity took a long, agonizing pause, but he eventually plunked the call into the pot to see the last card. It was the {9-Clubs}, and Romanello announced an all in shove for the ~15,000 he had left. Chouity snap-mucked, and Romanello flashed the {2-Hearts} as he collected the pot.

It might have been good. Chouity spent the next minute or so lamenting his "tons of draws" that never came through. With that pot, Romanello climbs back to about 39,000 or so, perhaps a bit more.
