Anton Wigg Eliminated in 11th Place (€13,228)

Anton Wigg was one of the players we looked out for at the beginning of the day, but within hands after David Benyamine busted we also lost the EPT Copenhagen winner.

Wigg raised pre flop to 12,000 and he got three-bet to 35,000 by Roy Finlay who has been on a roll lately. The action got back to Wigg who thought about it for a while and than shoved for his remaining 270.000 chips. "I call," Finlay said with confidence and that was not what Wigg was hoping for.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts} giving Finlay a set and the knock-out. Wigg left the room in style wishing the rest of the players good luck before he went to collect his money. "Within 40 minutes I went from short stack to chip leader," Finlay laughed. The Brit is having a great time here at the tables but he's still trailing Humbert, who can see his opponents coming closer.
