Put your knives back in the draw, it would take a chainsaw to cut the tension here! On my table, Allen Cunningham, Alex Kravchenko and Stephen Kjaerstad are eerily silent, with most of the table talk deriving from the mouth of Neil Channing. At one point, Channing took the conversation kicking and screaming into the world of food, with Joe Beevers offering up the following gem of culinary trivia: "Did you know, there are more Indian restaurants in the UK than the whole of India?"

Meanwhile, Theo Jorgensen appears to be the most aggressive player at the table, picking up the blinds preflop on two consecutive hands. Just before I left, Beevers led out for 7,000 on a {Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} board (the flop had been checked around), before folding to a reraise of 27,000 from Jorgenssen.

"How about a last longer with me and Donnacha?" suggested an observant Channing. "I'm a huge favorite to bust first," replied Jorgensen declining the offer.
