In a clash of the British whose names surprisingly end in 'o,' the unpredictable Albert Sapiano, honey magnate and recent fixture on the tournament scene, got into a big confrontation with Roberto Romanello, Welsh whiz-kid with a doctorate in table talk.

Romanello had gotten his entire stack in with the board reading :
{8-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} . Sapiano had made the call and I could just see his {J-Hearts} {J-Spades} in bad shape against Romanello's flopped set - {6-Clubs} {6-Spades} .

The river... {J-Clubs} Romanello, originally getting up to leave, actually covers Sapiano by 225, but the game is pretty much up. As he stood with a pained expression, he got a rubdown of lemon juice squeezed in the papercut of defeat:

"You know why that happened? Because you lie. God punishes those that lie."
"I always lie!" Romanello stood his ground - I imagine some kind of chat was part of the reason Sapiano called his bet.
As I write this, Romanello exits. "You always do me!" he exclaims at Sapiano as he makes his rueful exit.
