Hand Analysis: Hands #31-40

After getting shut out last round, Johannes Korsar won two pots. He picked up pocket Aces but couldn't get paid off. He finally passed the 1 million mark after slipping earlier.

Gus Hansen called Dominic Kay "the tightest player he had ever seen." It wasn't a surprise to us when Kay moved all in on Hand #34 that he held pocket Aces. He doubled up against John Tabatabai, who made an interesting call with {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

John Tabatabai got his chips back when he woke up with Pocket Cowboys on Hand #38 and doubled through Theo Jorgensen. Jorgensen was crippled. He shoved all in on Hand #39 and ended up quadrupling up. He chopped the next hand to avoid elimination.

John Tabatabai became the first player past the 2 million chip mark as he took the lead back from Matt McCullough, who slipped to 1.25 million.

Theo Jorgensen is still the severe short stack. He needs help... fast.
