Lee Wins From Pham
Level 9
: 600/1,200, 0 ante
Dinh Pham has been building steadily for the last few levels to climb into the chip lead and has been pulling in a pot every time PokerNews walks past his table. Wayne Lee has managed to temporarily throw a spanner in the works, pushing Pham off a recent pot.
It was Huss Hassan the instigator, making it 5,000 to go pre-flop from early position, with Lee (cutoff) and Pham (small blind) both making the call to take the action three-way to a flop of with Pham and Hassan checked the action over to Lee, who bet out 10,000 with Pham the only caller with the pot coming in at 36,200.
The turn brought in a possible spade flush and Lee fired a second barrel for 13,500, which was enough to get Pham to give it up.
