Spano Pots to Push Off Howearth

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Robert Spano now has significantly more chips
Robert Spano now has significantly more chips

Matthew Howearth and Robert Spano played a big pot that saw the latter leave the former on life support.

With the community cards spread {10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and 20,500 in the pot on the river, Spano (big blind) had checked the action over to Howearth (button) who bet the pot.

Spano check-raised pot, effectively putting Howearth all-in for his tournament life and after some time in the tank, Howearth made the fold to drop to 7,000 or so in chips, while Spano climbed to ~200,000.
