Camphausen Falls to Rafferty
Germany's Marc Camphausen had been nursing a short-stack for the majority of the level and finally committed the last of his chips from under-the-gun for a shove of 110,000.
Anish Kumar made the call from one seat over, and Tom Rafferty also called from the big blind, with the two checking it down the whole way on the run out.
Camphausen had the best pre-flop hand with and while this was still ahead of Kumar's Rafferty had hit a pair with which was just enough to bring Camphausen's Main Event to a close. Camphausen will not be unhappy with his performance this series, however, collecting AU$18,344 for his 20th place finish.
Combined with his final table third-place finish in the $5k Challenge, which was good for AU$160,610 and which he satellited into for $500, this brings his total haul up to AU$178,954.
Rafferty stacked up to 2 million after the hand.
