Early Salvoes

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Over on the feature table, Anish Kumar opened the action with a raise to 90,000 from the hijack with big blind Lior Segre the only caller in the big blind.

There was no betting on any street with the board running out {4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Spades}, Segre showing down {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Kumar taking the pot with {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Billy 'the croc' Argyros tried to get something going with a raise to 90,000 from the hijack a couple of hands later with Duy Doc Vu making the call from the big blind to take the action heads-up to a flop of {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

Vu checked the action over to Argyros, who tossed out a 125,000 continuation bet and Vu check-raised to 325,000 in total. While he did not look overly happy about it, eventually, Argyros let it go leaving Vu free to scoop the pot without showdown.
