Psarras Doubles, Yu Busts

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Michelle Psarras
Michelle Psarras

A short-stacked Michelle Psarras got the last of her chips in pre-flop with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} from the button and Bin Yu made the call from the big blind with {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Yu paired his queen on the {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop and maintained his lead on the {7-Clubs} turn but the {a-Hearts} river saw Psarras avoid elimination and climb to 10,000, while Yu was left with 5,000.

All this went in blind from the button the next hand, with Ehsan Amiri making the call from the big blind to put Yu at risk.

Bin Yu: {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Ehsan Amiri: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The runout came {k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Yu hit the rail as Amiri climbed above starting stack to 35,000.
