Capra Doubles Through Dodds

Joel Dodds raised to 52,000 from middle position before Sam Capra moved all in for 226,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded.

"Close one Sammy," said Dodds, as he deliberated over his decision.

"I like close ones," replied Capra, with a smile on his face.

Hargrave's Tournament Comes to an End

The board ran down {7-}{8-}{9-}{8-}{10-} to see him make the low end of a straight but fall short to his opponent who made the higher straight.

Hargrave's series comes to an end after flying in from New Zealand. He came only for the opening event where he ultimately finished in 5th place for just short of $30,000. He then decided to fly back for the main and had another deep run finishing just outside the top 50 for another $7,000 pay day.

Hargrave wanted to give a shout out to his partner as well as family and friends who have been supporting him throughout the last few weeks.

Cohen Doubles Through Chew

Joel Cohen just doubled up through Stevan Chew after his {a-}{k-} took down the pot on a {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} board.

Cohen had 686,000 committed and had it matched by Chew who's cards had already been mucked.

Chew drops down to 191,000 whilst Cohen rockets over the million check-mark following the hand.
