Hellmuth Loses One With a Worse King High; Doesn't Explode Yet

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Phil Hellmuth opened with a raise to 1,800 from the button and he was called by the small blind. Both players checked on the {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop.

The small blind continued with a check on the {Q-Diamonds} turn, then called a bet of 1,200 from Hellmuth.

On the {2-Diamonds} river the small blind checked again and Hellmuth checked it back.

"King high," he said. The small blind showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for what must've been a better king high because Hellmuth mucked.

Hellmuth though made no comment and only went back to playing on his cellphone without saying anything.
