Feature Table Hands #36-41: Salas Adds to His Short Stack

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #36: John Hesp raised it up to 800,000 on the button and the new chip leader picked up the blinds and antes. Hesp flashed a queen and a jack.

Hand #37: Jonas Mackoff raised to 700,000 from middle position and Michael Ruane defended his big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Ruane checked. Mackoff bet 500,000 and Ruane folded, sending the pot to the Canadian.

Hand #38: Scott Stewart raised to 600,000 from the cutoff and raked in the blinds and antes.

Hand #39: Action folded to Jack Sinclair in the small blind and he raised to 900,000. Bryan Piccioli decided to defend his big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Sinclair checked, as did Piccioli. The turn was the {a-Clubs} and both players checked to the {2-Clubs} on the river. Sinclair tabled {k-Clubs}{8-Spades} for king-high and Piccioli mucked.

Hand #40: Damian Salas moved all in for 4,110,000 from the hijack and everyone folded.

Hand #41: Salas raised it up to 600,000 from late position and Randy Pisane defended his big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Pisane checked, as did Salas. The turn was the {8-Spades}. Pisane checked and Salas bet 550,000. Pisane called. The river was the {9-Spades} and both players checked. Pisane tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Spades} first, but it was no good against Salas' {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.
