Randy Pisane Sends One Home

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

A player in middle position raised to 27,000, Sofia Lovgren called from the cutoff, and Randy Pisane three-bet from the button to 80,000. The small blind four-bet shoved for just under 400,000, the original raiser folded, Lovgren folded, and Pisane called to put the small blind at risk.

Pisane: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Small blind: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Pisane had a huge lead with the better pocket pair, and he was still best after the board ran out {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades}, so he took the pot to send his opponent to the cage and add to his rapidly growing stack.

Christoph Vogelsang Runs Kings Into Michael Cloud's Aces

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Christoph Vogelsang was all in for his last 250,000 in what appeared to be a four-bet pot and was called by Michael Cloud.

Vogelsang was at risk with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, well behind the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} of Cloud.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and Cloud's set of aces was good to take down the pot and send Vogelsang to the rail.

Liv Boeree Eliminates a Player; Finger Soaring

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

Shortly after being moved to the Brasilia room, Liv Boeree just eliminated a player when her {a-Spades}{4-Clubs} held on a {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} board.

Meanwhile, Martin Finger cited a strong showing at the end of last level, including a double and a big 600,000-chip pot where his {q-}{q-} held against {10-}{10-}. That's how he's now the proud owner of 1.7M chips.

Pateychuk and Van Der Peijl Go to War

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We found Wouter Van Der Peijl with 230,000 in front of him in middle position, engaged in a preflop raising war with Andrey Pateychuk, who was in late position. Pateychuk had made it 416,000, and Van Der Peijl finally backed down after some thought and mucked.
