Ihar Soika Eliminated in 81st Place ($85,482)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Ihar Soika
Ihar Soika

From under the gun, Ihar Soika opened with a raise to 170,000. David Guay called from the lojack. Marcel Luske followed along from the cutoff and Alexander Greenblatt called from the big blind as well, creating four-way action heading to a flop.

On the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} flop, Greenblatt checked to Soika who bet 385,000. Guay folded. Action was on Marcel Luske and he shoved all in with a stack of roughly 2.5 million. Greenblatt quickly folded but Soika snap-called.

Luske: {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Soika: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Soika had flopped two pair, but Luske has flopped a straight and was in the lead. Luske needed to fade a king or a queen which he did on the {4-Hearts} turn and the {2-Spades} river, and that allowed him to get the knockout and nearly a double-up. Soika finishes the tournament in 81st place and will walk away with $85,482.
