Horton Gets a Bluff Through on Comel

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Josh Horton
Josh Horton

On a turn of {7-Spades} with a flop already of {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Joshua Horton was first to act. He put out a bet of 550,000 and Sebastien Comel called after a couple minutes of thought.

On the {K-Spades} river, Horton led again, this time he bet 925,000. Comel thought for about two minutes, then the clock was called.

As the floor man came over and asked whether or not the player had enough time, Comel tossed his cards forward into the muck.

"Whew!" Horton said as he turned his {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} face up for jack high with a missed flush draw. "You had me sweating!"

Comel shook his head and tapped the table, as his chips were sent over to Horton who closed in on the 10-million-chip mark.
