Carrel Tries to Bluff Hallaert

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Just before the announcement that five hands were to be played, Kenny Hallaert opened for 45,000 under the gun plus one. Max Silver called in middle position and so did his neighbor Charlie Carrel.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Hallaert bet 100,000. Silver folded and Carrel raised to 325,000. Hallaert called, and check-called another 475,000 on the {10-Spades} turn. The river {A-Hearts} saw both players check.

"Flush?" Carrel asked, "Top set?"

Hallaert tabled {J-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Carrel mucked while letting out a big sigh and laugh.
