Alex Conklin's Quest to be the Youngest Main Event Winner

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Alex Conklin
Alex Conklin

Alex Conklin entered the Main Event on Day 1b, which was his 21st birthday.

He ended the day with a healthy 83,500 in chips and battled it out on Day 2ab. At the end of that day, he carried forward a stack worth 156,800 chips and has more than doubled that here on Day 3.

Conklin is currently the youngest player in the Main Event and could take the title of youngest Main Event champion from Joe Cada after his win in 2009. Peter Eastgate held the title in 2008, but that was short-lived.

Conklin sits with 410,000 in just the second level of the day.
