Matthew Moss the First to Cross the Million-Chip Mark

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Matthew Moss

A player in early position raised, Matthew Moss three-bet to 13,200 from middle position, and the player in the big blind four-bet shoved for about 95,000. The initial raiser folded, and Moss mulled it over for a few moments before he called with {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, leading his opponent's {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}.

The board came down {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, giving Moss jacks full of sixes to eliminate his opponent.

Immediately following that hand, Moss' table broke into the Amazon Room where he got tangled in a pot before he could unbag his chips.

Moss opened to 5,200 from early position, the player on the button three-bet to 15,000, and Moss called.

They checked to the turn of a {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board. Moss checked to his opponent, who bet 18,000. Moss check-raised to 73,000, and his opponent tanked for about two minutes and folded {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} face-up.

Moss showed the {10-Hearts} as he collected the pot and is first player above the million-chip mark.
