Will Kassouf Gets a Call

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

The board at the river read {8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and it was Will Kassouf’s turn to act from the big blind.

The chatter continued as it had throughout the hand, as it had since he arrived at the table, and seemingly as it has since time began. The controversial motor-mouth from England is back in the Main Event, and even when the ESPN cameras are not surrounding him, the performance continues.

Kassouf promised a rainbow bet, but missed out on the T$1,000 yellow chip, and led for 5,625.

Andrew Dean was the player who had a decision to make and it didn’t seem as if the incessant chatter bothered him too much. Some at the table were smiling at Kassouf’s monologue, others ignoring it.

The Kassouf stream was suddenly interrupted by a call from Dean.

Kassouf showed {j-Spades}{7-Spades} for the rivered flush.

There was a beat before Dean revealed his {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} full house to drag the pot while Kassouf complained that he had been two-outed on the river, but also saved a 1,000 chips by forgetting the yellow in his bet.
