Paul Volpe Takes Out Renan Bruschi

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw:

Paul Volpe raised. From the big blind, Renan Bruschi was forced all in.

Volpe drew one while Brushci took three. On the second draw, both players took one. Bruschi made a mistake and turned his hand up, thinking the drawing was already over and announced, "Ten." He showed {10-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a ten low. Volpe saw the hand, then the dealer continued with the action.

"Pat," Bruschi said.

"No," Volpe said. "Don't pat." But Bruschi had already made his decision. Volpe stood pat too. He showed {9-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{4-} for a nine-seven low and that was good for the win, eliminating Bruschi from the tournament.
